Who is baking the cakes?

It’s me, Ezgi :) I am an ex-lawyer who got an interest in baking desserts, especially cakes, around 5 years ago. I have baked over hundreds of different recipes and styles.

Now I am registered as a Food Business with the South Cambridgeshire Council and have the following certifications from an accredited centre:

  • Food Allergen Awareness

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering

  • Level 2 HACCP Training For Catering & Retail

I do live in Cambridge for a long time now, prior to that I lived in Istanbul.


Where is your location?

I do bake all the cakes from our home’s kitchen in Girton, Cambridge.


What can I order?

Currently you can order celebration cakes for adults, birthday cakes for children, custom cheesecakes, and decorated cupcakes.

What are the sizes of the cakes?

Cakes:

  • 10 - 14 inch base

  • One, two, or three tier

  • Serving 10 - 36 slices

Cheesecakes:

  • 8 to 12 inch base

  • Serving 10 - 24 slices

Cupcakes:

  • Minimum 12

  • Maximum is 96 (Bigger orders can be taken per request)

Are all of the cake products Vegetarian?

Yes.

Do you have Vegan options?

Currently we do not provide any vegan options. I do have plans to include them in the future.

What kind of ingredients do you use?

Most common ingredients are:

  • Dry Goods: Sugar, Brown Sugar, Powdered Sugar, White Flour, Cocoa Powder, Baking Powder, Bicarbonate-Soda, Salt, Cornstarch.

  • Dairy and Fresh: Butter, Whipping Cream, Milk, Buttermilk, Cream Cheese, Eggs.

  • Oils: Vegetable Shortening, Sunflower Oil.

  • Extracts: Vanilla Beans, Vanilla Extract, Almond Extract, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Lemon Zest, Orange Zest.

  • Edible decorations: Sugar paste, Food colouring, Sparkles.

  • All nuts and fruits.

Almost all of the ingredients are purchased from the local Eddington Sainsbury’s.

Do you offer allergen-free products?

Currently no.

I use ingredients that contain common allergens, including wheat (gluten), dairy, eggs, and tree nuts.

As I work with these ingredients in all my operations and am therefore unable to offer allergen-free products at this time.

I recommend that individuals with food allergies or dietary sensitivities carefully review my ingredient list. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept this allergen information.
